Guy Skinny was born due to my frustration with trying to find my avid and passionate skateboarding son a few pairs of skinny pants. After visiting several boutiques, specialty shops (Pac Sun, Vans, Underground), and big box retail companies, I simply couldn’t find these coveted pants!

I gave my son a call and informed him of my hard luck, he told me that I had to shop in the girls section for the right kind... Honestly, I was in shock, but after talking to the clerks at all of these stores, they simply confirmed this sad truth.

Just when I thought things were bad enough, not only is there no branded personality tied to this cool product but these bold skater boys have to drop their testosterone levels a bit to ask for girls pants! After my purchase something magical happened, I said to myself, “Why isn't there a company that offers the same cut and feel of the girl lines, yet offer them in the GUYS section while giving the GUYS a chance to purchase the way God had intended, by waist and inseam in the GUYS section! I called my very close friend, Dave Englund (Marketing and Design Guru), a cool, creative, talented, passionate, and hip sort of dude, pitched him the idea and little did I know that this single phone call doubled itself as the creative and talented JoAnne Englund (New York City Fashion designer and Dave's wife) came on board as well, and within seconds Guy Skinny was born! No more shopping in the girls section! No more shopping online! No more having the clerk bring skinnies to you in the dressing room! No more, No more, No more!

Guy Skinny is made by skaters, for skaters who want EASY access and availability when purchasing “skinny pants”.

I enjoy drowning myself in the skateboarding community and culture, so yeah, I get it! I have played just about every sport there is, but after spending countless hours at the skate parks, talking and hanging out with you guys, I became aware that several things are true, you are simply the most passionate, creative, dedicated, and tight group of individuals I’ve ever seen! Skateboarding is NOT a fad, nor is it a hobby! Skateboarding is 100% lifestyle and 100% passion!

We've adopted a “new” school of thought; We want YOU to be a part of this company! We want YOUR suggestions! What do YOU like? What do YOU dislike? If you'll wear it, we'll make it!
